Die CD „ In touch with Rio “ ist das fünfte Album des Rua Baden Powell-Projekts in den letzten zehn Jahren. Auf den letzten Produktionen verwendeten die Musiker immer Songs aus dem großen Buch der Brazilklassiker, arrangierten sie, um die instrumentalen Kompositionen mit den zauberhaften Melodien eines Baden Powell, A.C.Jobim, Luiz Bonfa u.a. zu ergänzen.
Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit der Poetin Amelia da Costa und mit der Unterstützung von Juliana da Silva entstanden im vergangenen Jahr einige Songs, in denen sich die brasilianische Sprachpoesie, mit dem Rhythmus der Musik vereint, entfalten konnte.
Die Aufnahme wurde von Jens Schwemin in Baden-Baden geleitet, direkt auf einem Analog-Pult gemischt und analog auf einer 2-Spur Telefunken M20 aufgezeichnet. Dadurch entstand ein Livesound – hörenswert und analog.

The CD “ In touch with Rio „ is the fifth album of the Rua Baden Powell project in the last ten years. On the last productions, the musicians always used songs from the big book of Brazilian classics, arranged them to complement the instrumental compositions with the enchanting melodies of a Baden Powell, A.C.Jobim, Luiz Bonfa and others.
Through the collaboration with the poet Amelia da Costa and with the support of Juliana da Silva, some songs were created last year in which the Brazilian language poetry, united with the rhythm of the music, could unfold.
The recording was directed by Jens Schwemin in Baden-Baden, mixed directly on an analogue desk and recorded in analogue on a 2-track Telefunken M20. This created a live sound – worth listening to and analogue.
