Das legendären MPS Studio in Villingen – wir wollten dort auch mal aufnehmen – unsinnige Nostalgie verfolgte uns. Baden Powell, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson und viele berühmte Stars haben dort ihre Meisterwerke auf Band eingespielt. Es war spannend und voll mit Emotionen, die CD ist dann auch bei dem zum Studio gehörenden Label, HGBS, erschienen – Duo pur. Leider wurde die Aufnahme kein Erfolg, es gab nicht mal einen Labelvertrag. Später wurde das Label an Sony abgetreten. Die Künstler wurden nicht informiert. Eine typische Musikergeschichte.

The legendary MPS studio in Villingen – we wanted to record there too – nonsensical nostalgia haunted us. Baden Powell, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson and many famous stars recorded their masterpieces on tape there. It was exciting and full of emotion, the CD was then also released by the label belonging to the studio, HGBS – pure duo. Unfortunately, the recording was not a success, there was not even a label contract. Later the label was sold to Sony. The artists were not informed. A typical musician’s story.
